Join us for a free informative discussion covering concussions on Thursday, February 28th, 2019.

- The current clinical understanding of the complex nature of the concussed brain
- Initial clinical workup following the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and acute symptom management
- Prevention and risk factors associated with the concussion, risk, and management of the post-concussive syndrome, and active rehabilitation techniques
- Current criteria that prepare the athlete for Return to Play (RTP) and return to the competitive sport
This lecture will offer an interactive opportunity for our guests to communicate with a renowned neurologist and concussion expert, Dr. Nicole Reams, as well as discuss active rehabilitation management with Ivy Rehab Physical Therapist Dr. Alex Bendersky.
