Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is Now Serving the State of Delaware

Physical Therapy now in Wilmington

For those living in Delaware, it’s time to start celebrating–Ivy Rehab has expanded into the Diamond State! The first Delaware clinic is located in the North Wilmington area of Claymont. The second office is located in Newark and will be open in early February. This is a huge step for the Ivy Rehab Network’s expansion as they continue to sweep the East Coast.

“We are thrilled to be expanding in the Delaware Valley and have the opportunity to offer our services to patients and doctors in the state of Delaware,” said William Leitzel, Vice President of Business Development. “This marks Ivy’s entry into the 11th state in the union. Under the leadership of Gene Barbieri and John Mohollen, we’ll be able to offer the same level of excellence in care and a world-class patient experience that our patients expect at all of our Ivy Rehab locations.”

The North Wilmington office in Claymont, Delaware is conveniently located at 2714 Philadelphia Pike next to McDonald’s in the Grubb’s Landing retail complex. They are accepting new patients and offer early morning, late evening and weekend appointment hours. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Additionally, patient transportation is available for those needing assistance.

“I’m looking forward to working with and improving the lives of this community that has welcomed me with open arms,” said Jeffrey Vaisbery, PT, DPT.  “I bring a unique assessment and treatment perspective to rehabilitation and physical therapy that educates patients on the root cause of dysfunction and empowers patients to attain their therapy goals of returning to sports, lifting their child or grandchild, gardening, returning to work, or personal hobbies.”

“We are thrilled to be opening in the state of Delaware and look forward to serving all of the surrounding communities,” said Gene Barbieri, Partner, and Regional Director. “Jeff is an outstanding physical therapist and we are honored to have him as Clinical Director at our Claymont office.”
