Little Steps Pediatric Therapy now offers ABA services in Highland Park, Illinois. The facility is located at 1910 First Street, across the street from the Metra between Central and Elm. This new facility marks Little Steps Pediatric Therapy’s third ABA location in Illinois.
Little Steps – ABA Therapy supports children and their families to learn new skills and techniques using the most effective therapy for autism. They aim to work on what’s most important to the child and their support system by creating an individualized pediatric treatment program tailored to their needs. Whether it’s working on communication, social skills, aggression, non-compliance, self-help skills, play, academics, or fine or gross motor skills, the team always addresses specific concerns for each individual. They focus on increasing the child’s skills while decreasing undesirable behaviors.
Stephanie Bates, M.A., BCBA, serves as the Clinic Director and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst at the ABA facility in Highland Park.
“I’m thrilled to be expanding the ABA services Little Steps and Ivy ABA offer into Highland Park, a town that hasn’t had high quality, center-based ABA services that are truly collaborative with other therapy disciplines,” said Stephanie. “Having shared space with OT, PT, and Speech services gives us a unique opportunity to serve this community’s families!”
Stephanie has been a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst since 2009. While her career has seen seasons providing clinical services to individuals from birth to 70 and administration, her passion is for using ABA to help the pediatric population achieve their greatest possible outcomes.
As the BCBA & ABA Clinic Director at Little Steps / Ivy ABA, she partners with families, physicians, and other providers to do just that!
When she’s not working, Stephanie loves to read, make homemade gifts, and walk through the many forest preserves nearby.
