What is the Ivy Prehab Program?
The Ivy Prehab plan is an investment in your post-op recovery. You’ll receive concierge care, from your surgeon to the physical therapist. You’ll receive a detailed and structured prehab program comprised of daily exercises to prepare you for surgery and help you achieve your goals.
Visits range from 50-60 minutes in length. The program is typically 2-6 visits over the course of 1 month.
We want to help make sure you’re on the road to a faster recovery. Visits typically include:
- Learn about pre-operation expectations
- Assess objectives and set goals
- Establish home exercises with the guidance of your physical therapist
- Postural & body-mechanics education
- Gait training on all surfaces
- The assistive device obtained and fitted
- Improve range of motion and strength
- Safety checks

- Manual therapy or exercise instruction to improve range of motion and strength
- Prepare for surgery

- You will be assessed for objective readiness for surgery
