Ivy Rehab Can Help
Provide Quality Medical Care
The key to reducing costs is to provide injured workers with medical attention as soon as possible. This will reduce long-term disability and mitigate any negative effects of costly lawsuits.
- Establish open communication lines with employee and/or medical provider, so that everyone is on the same page regarding expectations and action plans around the injured worker.
- Choose medical professionals with quality patient care and better overall results, as opposed to choosing who is closest.
Match Employees to the Job
Ensure your employee meets the physical demands the job requires to do the job safely and efficiently.
- Consider POET (post offer employment tests) to determine whether your employee candidate demonstrates the ability to perform the job demands necessary.
- Make sure any hiring ad accurately describes the job and the physical demands necessary for the job.
- Make sure you accurately understand the load demands your employees need to perform each job duty and ensure they have the proper equipment to get the job done.
Return-to-Work Programming
Lower the number of workdays lost due to injury or illness. It is well known that the longer a person is out of work for an injury, the harder it is to get them back to work.
- Successful return-to-work programs are geared at getting injured employees back to work as quickly and safely as possible.
- Consider modified duty/light duty job tasks or part-time work until the employee fully recovers.
Individual Program Customization
Our workers’ comp program will be customized for each injured worker and may include:
- Center our care around the job description
- Communicate regularly with Employers, adjuster (ADJ), Case Manager (CM), Referral Network, Physicians
- Return to Work Outcome data

- Return-to-work assessments

- Assessments to determine if a patient is fit to return to work after an injury
We’re Here To Help With:
- Employee Early Intervention
How many of your employees complain of the wrist, arm, shoulder, or back pain? Repetitive stress injuries are the largest category of worker injuries, and they’re also the most preventable. There may be workplace problem areas that you aren’t even aware of. Learn More
- Office Ergonomics
Many office environments weren’t created with office ergonomic design in mind which can lead to headaches, back and neck pain, and eye strain. Prolonged sitting, poor posture and awkward office set-ups are causing pain, fatigue, and muscle imbalance. Learn More
- Work Conditioning
Returning to work after an injury can be a learning process for both the employee and the employer. With proper training, this process can be smooth and effective. Helping the injured employee feel good, and allowing work to resume safely is our goal. Learn More
- Functional Capacity Evaluation
An FCE is an objective process for an individual’s physical capacities and functional abilities. The FCE matches human performance levels to the physical demands of a specific job, work activity, and/or occupation. Learn More
- Post-Offer Employment Testing
The goal of post-offer employment testing (POET) or pre-employment screening is to hire individuals who are physically capable of performing the essential job functions. This helps to ensure that the employee’s abilities match the job requirements especially if they are physically demanding. Learn More
