For Families: Physical Therapy During Coronavirus

Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapy for your Family during Coronavirus

Although your little ones may be out of school due to closures caused by the coronavirus disease, our pediatric clinics, and orthopedic clinics are open and here to help in any way possible. The Department of Homeland Security believes that Speech, Physical, and Occupational therapy are essential services, and we whole-heartedly agree. Our clinics and health care professionals follow all protocols of the CDC and take every precaution to keep your family safe and healthy. We are continually evolving our services so we can be there for your children and the entire family.

Your Family’s Safety First

During this time, our therapists are taking every measure of cleaning and disinfecting all areas that are frequently contacted (ex. equipment, door handles, light switches, etc). In addition to these precautions, they are handwashing on a frequent basis, making sure to wash hands between every patient contact. We are making sure that there are no germs in, no germs out. Firm screening measures are in place; for example, if patients or staff have any flu-like symptoms, or even common cold symptoms, including sneezing, coughing, feeling the need to cough, feeling sick, or experiencing respiratory issues, they are asked to remain home and self-quarantine. We are focused on disease control & prevention and continue to serve patients.

Therapy for Kids

We know how difficult this may be for you and your children. Your family may be faced with many changes & challenges, especially due to closures during this health emergency. During this time of rapid changes, we remain open and here for you and your child. Patient safety comes first, and we are here to treat any needs your family may have. • Therapy at home allows both new and existing patients to receive in-person therapy services. This includes one-on-one evaluations and treatment sessions in the safety of their home.
